In Aquarius, the first quarter is like navigating a crowd of people, all busy and all heading in the same general direction, but to different destinations.
If you take the same train or bus at the same time every day, you’ll see the same commuters; eventually, you might even start recognizing each other with a smile or a nod. On the highway, your car is one of thousands vying for position, trying to merge into another lane or exit.

However…if disaster strikes, or someone passes out on the train, or there’s a serious collision in the fourth lane, be prepared to observe humanity at its best. Strangers helped each other without question, without political, racial or gender litmus tests.

The call of the soul

Certainty does not exist
Imagine you are a horse, jumping happily through the fields, steady and free. But then, you brush against the electric fence, and just for a second, it’s enough to give you an uncomfortable shock and make you stop. Might there be something else nearby, something you didn’t foresee, ready to cause a shock? Suddenly, you may feel a little unsteady on your hooves. For a moment, you may feel less confident and free.
Mercury in Sagittarius can represent the feeling that our understanding of the world is settled. But this First in a series of three oppositions between Mercury and Uranus (October 29, 2025 12:36 PM PDT, 0°21′ Sagittarius and Gemini) Sending out shockwaves “what ifs” is our way. Sure, you might have a good idea of things like them ——But are they still like that? What new information do you need to make room for? Three aspects of Uranus, not to mention the upcoming retrograde period, will make Mercury’s certainty no longer possible.

Just entered Sagittarius, Mercury forms first of three sextiles to Pluto (October 30, 2025, 3:06 PM PDT, 1°26′ Sagittarius and Aquarius) From now to mid-December. On November 17, when Mercury goes retrograde, it will have its second sextile. The last sextile will be on December 13, after Mercury turns direct. Well, this week is the beginning of a three-part Mercury-Pluto story.
The plot of this story is that you realize that a lot of the things you’ve been telling yourself for years about yourself and others are wrong. Either they were wrong from the start, or they got it wrong over time. Now that Mercury and Pluto are interacting, these facts cannot be hidden.
This aspect is beneficial when used consciously. Its keen powers of observation aid in research and troubleshooting, as well as identifying problems before getting involved in situations or relationships that could ultimately be destructive.
Enough (with a little extra)
How much do we actually need to be happy? Of course, this varies from person to person. But happiness research shows that in addition to necessary expenses, plus a little Extra, more money usually doesn’t guarantee more happiness. It can provide more pleasure and comfort, but it’s not the same thing. Many people on their luxurious death beds would trade everything for an army bed and a little more time.
