New Moon in Scorpio This Week (Webinar Tonight!) – Anne Oatley Astrology

Dear friends,
There is a New Moon in Scorpio this week, reaching perfection in the early hours of Thursday morning. I haven’t been able to schedule a webinar before the actual event—I recently flew south for the winter, and I have a good friend living with me in Florida—but I do hope you’ll join me tonight for a deep dive into current cosmic trends. (You’ll want to do a New Moon ritual tonight or tomorrow anyway, because this weekend’s Saddle Moon and Capricorn Moon have a better closing aspect!)
Please click here to register and attend tonight’s Scorpio New Moon Manifestation Circle webinar: Friday, November 21st at 7:30pm ET!
The New Moon chart is active for the next 30 days, and in addition to sowing the seeds of a new two-and-a-half-year cycle in our lives, there is what we call a locomotive configuration. Fast moving, strong, confident – with complex configurations, especially in Washington DC charts. (See picture below!)
The Sun and Moon are at 28 degrees 11 minutes Scorpio, both closely conjunct Mercury retrograde at 28 degrees 27 minutes Scorpio. This is prime time for in-depth investigation and ultimately secrets being revealed. What you heard before wasn’t the whole story, and maybe what you’re hearing now isn’t the whole story either, but regardless, it’s an improvement over what we knew before. We are moving towards truth, fairness and transparency.
In a New Moon chart, Mercury opposes Uranus (the second of three planets, both currently retrograde): watch for shocking revelations that will continue to unfold over the next month, as Mercury moves direct and moves through his shadow into talkative, open-minded Sagittarius.
What you learn (or learn) this week should move you. . . It will. Scorpio may be a fixed sign, but this chart as a whole is all about movement. One of Scorpio’s keywords is transformation: in addition to prompting short-term action, letting the news you hear change your internal perspective.
Interestingly, given the current political turmoil in the United States, the New Moon chart is especially active in Washington, D.C. If you count the DC Ascendant as one of the points, you can read this New Moon chart as containing either the Star of David or the Grand Sextile—two interlocking trines (or, in the case of Pluto in Aquarius, close conjunction) of the final degrees of Earth and Water. Everybody is talking to everybody. The flow of information can no longer be controlled.
So tonight we’ll obviously be discussing the Epstein documents and what their (partial) release might mean for this country as we continue to work through the long and difficult Pluto return that has ruled us over the past few years.
We will also discuss your horoscope and how you can use astrological tools to help you become more effective, purposeful, and focused in your life.
Please click here to register and join me. Hope to see you there!
Big hugs, Annie
