Cut into thin slices – Big Sky Astrology

life goes on

Like many married couples, my husband and I spend a lot of time every day discussing dinner. On the most recent day of Mercury retrograde, negotiations were negotiated with the delicious homemade vegetarian Neatloaf. It asked for ricotta so we stopped at the grocery store but accidentally picked up the cheese. Back home, we came up with a replacement, but couldn’t find the Neatloaf recipe. We turned to pasta pomodoro but found that we didn’t like recipes. Finally, we landed on our favorite orzo dish, but as we started preparing, the water filter pump started screaming to get people’s attention.

You get it. Classic mercury retrograde substances – wrong ingredients, lost papers, technical failures. Three times a year, once, once, Mercury’s retrograde period is mostly secondary, but is usually aggravated.

This week, Mercury Station Direct (August 11, 2025, 12:30 AM PDT, 4º14’LEO), ending its latest retrograde period. Maybe the recipe will come up when it wakes up and starts to follow its route. If not, we have already provided Pomodoro with angel hair pasta for storage. The water filtration pump appears to have recovered its calmness. As of now, life continues.

Order and chaos

Life seems to be most interesting in balance with order and chaos, integration and anarchy, form and dysfunction. When rulers Saturn’s main aspects of Uranus against rule-breaking humans, they describe the process of bringing these qualities to useful consistency.

Transition this week the second of three six molecules between Saturn and Uranus (August 11, 2025, 8:33 PM PDT, 1º12’ARIES-GEMINI). Throughout this series (the first was on April 4, 2025 and the last was on January 19, 2026), Heaven and Earth reflect the opportunity to integrate these qualities and produce advances in dependence on structure (Saturn) and innovation (Uranus).

Saturn and Uranus recently formed six six-dollars in 1996 and 1997, an exciting period of technological advancement (Uranus is closely related to technology; Saturn and Saturn that developed it), such as the first smartphone, Nokia correspondent; the first commercial internet browser; the introduction of Hotmail; the launch of Google and eBay; the creation of Wi-Fi.

This time, so far, the big news is AI – what does this mean for our daily lives, our job? How will we respond? And you? You are the Saturn-Ulasu type, who likes to jump on the tech train at full speed, or who wants to slow the train down and slide into the station before adopting something new?

Cut into thin slices

My friend took me to my birthday dinner and we all silly ate ourselves. After that, we will give the Kent family a break and enjoy my neighbor’s amazing birthday carrot cake. We sliced the slices as thick as we wanted, which turned out to be more than we should and I suffered the rest of the time from the hangover/digestion of the carrot cake.

If Venus symbolizes what we like (that cake is my favorite), The combination of Venus and Jupiter (August 11, 2025, 10:30 pm PDT, 14º03’Cancer) More services are available than good for us. The Sabia symbols of this conjunction are perfectly summarized: 15 cancers, Groups that surpass and like it.

I might add, “…until they don’t.” Too many good things quickly turn into something not so good at all. So, under this combination, don’t be afraid to enjoy your path. Simply slice the cake.

High Alert

Mars one-sixth of Mercury Twice this week. This combination of planets brings a whole bunch of fusion and busyness that mixes mercury with the driving force and energy of Mars. It is not common to experience this aspect twice in a few days. In this case, this is due to a group of mercury moving slowly after its site is shortened directly, then catching up with Mars twice as the speed accelerates. But, in a week, two of these two aspects make our ideas highly alert and work overtime to generate large bold ideas.

The first six-point score (August 14, 2025, 7:05 pm PDT, 5º05’LEO and LIBRA) takes place on the Taurus moon. Submit to Taurus’ leisurely pace by grabbing your few better ideas and throwing them into the Martian oven to bake. By the second six minutes (August 17, 10:33 PM PDT, 7º04′ Leo and Libra), they will be ready to come out of the oven and you can decide who should get your full attention and be able to move forward.

A girl wants to eat

I will say this to my mother: She always supports my dreams. When I beg for the guitar, she picked up the money and dragged me to the white front department store to buy the cheap little six-string sound. When I was determined to win the weekly talent contest at my local Country West club, she took me every Tuesday night until I succeeded. She believed in my singing and music and helped me in various ways.

But she is also Taurus, the moon in Virgo, grew up on the farm during the Great Depression. She knew that dreams didn’t always come true, and a girl’s stuff had to eat. So she insisted that I took a secretary course in high school, and those typing, shorthand and bookkeeping skills paid my rent in my 20s. They have also proved invaluable throughout my astrological career.

This week’s Taurus on quarter moon (August 15, 2025, 10:12 PM PDT, 23º36’Taurusand Leo) is the last critical phase of the LEO New Moon Cycle on July 24. If we work diligently and patiently and develop skills that support our survival, this stage can bring creative rewards.

The Sun in Leo has surpassed the new moon’s shadow on Pluto, a little desperate opposition, when the effort to indulge in our creative pursuits can be blocked and futile. But a few weeks later, we are ready to stretch and celebrate our gift. Now we are more confident in our survival skills, our strength, confidence and creative enthusiasm—certainly like peeking at the horizon every morning.
