Chapter 323 Full Moon in Gemini: Book of Mercury – Big Sky Astrology

Chapter 323 Gemini Full Moon: The Book of Mercury
This week, Venus forms a fiery sextile to Pluto, and the Full Moon in Gemini is relatively quiet, but the Sun’s square to the Nodes tells us that we’re at the halfway point between eclipses. Mercury ends the week trining Jupiter and Saturn and showing us how to write a book. Plus, April answers audience questions about Saturn transits—why do we seem to learn the same Saturn lessons over and over again? Plus: taste our soups, scaffolding, variations and twists.

[1:22] Venus sextiles Pluto (December 2 at 1:07 AM PST) at 1°55′ Sagittarius-Aquarius. Adventures only to the possibilities of land and sea, or out-of-this-world experiences. [3:02] Moon report! The Full Moon in Gemini (December 4 at 3:14 PM PST) is at 13 degrees Gemini-Sagittarius. The Sun is also close to squaring the Lunar Nodes at this full moon (December 5 at 4:22 a.m. PST). This full moon is associated with two solar eclipses: September 7, 2025 (lunar eclipse, 15°22′ Pisces) and March 3, 2026 (lunar eclipse, 12°53′ Virgo). Give up excessive criticism, perfectionism, and workaholism. [8:29] Lunar Phase Family Cycle (LPFC). This is the LPFC Full Moon (Point of Awareness) beginning June 6, 2024, with the New Moon at 16°17′ Gemini. The first quarter moon (first action point) of this LPFC occurs on March 6, 2025, at 16°21′ Gemini. The last quarter month (last action point) of this LPFC will occur on September 4, 2026 at 11°48′ Gemini. [10:30] Void Period (VOC) Lunar cycle. The Moon squares Jupiter (December 1 at 10:14 AM PST), is in VOC for 8 hours and 59 minutes, and then enters Taurus (7:13 PM PST). Before you achieve your personal goals, connect with those close to you. [12:01] Moon sextile Neptune (December 3 at 5:50 PM PST). VOC lasts 58 minutes before entering Gemini (6:48 PM PST). Pisces irrigates the soil of Taurus, and Taurus provides guidance to Pisces. [13:47] The Moon squares Neptune (December 5 at 4:55 PST). VOC lasts 59 minutes before moving into Cancer (5:54 PM PST). Make a habit of expressing your inner thoughts in words. [16:00] The Moon trines Neptune (December 7 at 5:45 PM PST), is in VOC for one hour, and then enters Leo (6:48 PM PST). Make a habit of giving yourself some alone time to recharge. [17:12] Mercury trines Jupiter (December 6, 5:05 AM PST) at 24°08′ Scorpio Cancer. Mercury trines Saturn (December 7, 8:58 AM PST) at 25°14′ Scorpio-Pisces. This is the last in a series of trines between Mercury and Jupiter and Saturn. The first time is on October 24th/25th, and the second time is during Mercury retrograde on November 22nd. How are these aspects similar to writing a book? [20:42] Audience member Charlene asked why we seem to learn the same Saturn lessons over and over again.
