Astrology for December 2025 – Preparing for a New Era

December 2025 has a “moment before everything changes” feel to it.

Neptune is stationing direct in its final degree in Pisces, the full moon is squaring the North and South Nodes, and the new moon is touching the center of the Milky Way—all signaling a shift that has been brewing for a long time.

There’s a sense of inevitability – like we’re getting ready for something bigger than ourselves, something that will officially begin in early 2026.

The first half of the moon is showering on Sagittarius, the arrows have already flown out, and preparations have begun. As we enter Capricorn season, the path becomes clearer.

December feels like one foot in the old world and one in the new—the stories change and we change with them.

December 6, 2025 – Great Water Triangle

On December 6, 2025, we have one more water triangle. Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces are now conjunct Mercury, now direct and at 24° Scorpio.

With Mercury as the activator, we now work not through logic or external indicators, but through our Internal barometer – What we really feel inside.

Mercury in Scorpio trines Jupiter and Saturn simply “knows” what is meaningful and what is meaningless. Mercury becomes the translator of things we feel but cannot exactly name. “That” feels right. “This” is all I need.

This is a grand water Trinity, so it is meant to be experienced. No need to look outside for directions. How you feel now is the direction.

December 11, 2025 – Neptune goes direct

December 11, 2025 Neptune Station Direct at 29° Piscesthe last level of the zodiac.

From now on, my friend, there is really no turning back.

This confrontation is particularly important because it’s the last in a three-game series – so it comes with some sort of conclusion or breakthrough.

The whole story goes back to late October, when Mercury and Uranus first met. Halfway through, the second hit coincided with November’s new moon in Scorpio – and now, we’ve reached the third and final chapter, where the plot twist finally makes sense.

Watch for clues that have been brewing since then and are now coming full circle. With Mercury now stationing direct, we can expect surprising (and to some, not so surprising) news, insights, or realizations to come to fruition.

Or will this new beginning always be shaped by the narrative we inherit?

How much is this journey called life? ourhow much do we carry for others?

As with any Sagittarius transit, the answer is complex and philosophical. It’s rarely “either/or” – it’s usually “and.”

new beginning and An old thread. call transfer and A reckoning with what has come before.

December 21, 2025 – The Sun enters Capricorn

December 21, 2025 Sun enters Capricorn. Happy birthday to all Capricorns, and happy winter solstice to everyone!

Ancient civilizations across the globe built structures to commemorate the solstices and equinoxes, a reminder of how important these turning points are, the moments when the sun appears to change direction in the sky.

The tropical astrology we use today is based on these 4 markers: 2 solstices and 2 equinoxes.

While we may have lost some of the direct, earthy connections to nature that our ancestors relied on, tropical astrology is our modern way of staying in tune—using software rather than Stonehenge, angular rods, or temples of light—and still tapping into the cyclical wisdom of nature.

December 24, 2025 – Venus enters Capricorn

December 24, 2025 Venus joins the Capricorn party Just before Christmas – that’s the theme, because in Capricorn, Venus loves tradition and anything of substance.

Venus in Capricorn is responsible and loyal. She’s not a “maybe.” She didn’t overcommit. She is discerning, has strong boundaries, and values what is proven over time.

In a world of “I want it all and I want it now,” Venus in Capricorn brings long-term vision and emotional maturity.

Notice how your value system subtly shifts as Venus enters Capricorn, and how this grounded, mature Venus energy infuses your life.

December 30, 2025 mercury (at 26° Sagittarius) in square saturn (at 26° Pisces).

It’s a perfect transportation Year-end review – It’s time to look back and honestly understand what this year actually taught us.

This is the last square of the Mercury-Saturn cycle, so something is landing. We are finally seeing, without filter, the relationship between our goals and vision (Mercury in Sagittarius) and actual results (Saturn in Pisces).

What works well? What’s not there? What needs to be left behind?

This clarity naturally reveals new opportunities and possibilities. Mercury is now at the center of the Milky Way, tapping into wisdom and perspective we don’t usually have access to in our daily lives.

Next year, when Saturn (and Neptune) enter Aries, a whole new chapter begins – a new “everything,” a reset on every level.

Until then, before you write down your New Year’s resolutions, take a moment to write down your 2025 review. The best future always comes from understanding the past.
