Chapter 317 New Moon in Libra: Not So Pink and Frothy!
This week, the new moon in Libra emphasizes partnerships and values. Neptune retrogrades into Pisces. The Sun enters Scorpio and squares Pluto and begins to uncover what we have been hiding beneath the surface. [1:23] Moon report! Tuesday’s new moon in Libra. On October 21 (5:25 AM PDT), 28 degrees 21 minutes Libra is located in the Sabian symbol, 29 Libra, Humanity seeks to bridge the span of knowledge. Pluto’s influence suggests that this particular New Moon isn’t the pink, frothy, romantic New Moon in Libra that we imagine it to be. [4:29] Lunar Phase Family Cycle (LPFC). The First Quarter Moon (first action point) of the LPFC will occur on July 21, 2026 at 28°43′ Libra. The Full Moon (point of awareness) of this LPFC occurs on April 20, 2027, at 0°36′ Scorpio. The Last Quarter Moon (final action point) will occur on January 18, 2028 at 28°13′ Libra. [6:52] This week’s void period (VOC). Tuesday. On October 21, the Moon conjunct the Sun (5:25 AM PDT). VOC lasts 3 hours and 17 minutes before entering Scorpio (8:42 AM PDT). Make a habit of small acts of kindness. [8:34] Thursday. On October 23, the Moon trines Neptune in Scorpio (9:14 PM PDT). Its VOC lasts only five minutes before entering Sagittarius (9:19 PM PDT). Create a coffee/tea and divination ritual that asks, “What does my intuition tell me is the best use of this day?” [9:57] The Moon squares Neptune on Sunday, October 26 (9:42 AM PDT). VOC lasts 11 minutes before entering Capricornus (9:53 AM PDT). During this VOC, make a habit of considering opposing viewpoints to ensure continued learning and growth. [11:07] On Wednesday, October 22 (2:51 a.m. PDT), Neptune retrogrades back into Pisces, transiting this sign for the last time in our lifetimes. Neptune first entered Pisces in 2011 and 2012. It briefly enters Aries on March 30, 2025. It will leave Pisces forever on January 26, 2026, and will remain in Aries until 2038. Sabian symbolizes 30 Pisces, A majestic rock formation like a face was idealized by a boy who made it his ideal of greatness, and as he grew up he began to look like it.
