More than just survival – Big Sky Astrology

Everything is right with the world

You wake up just before dawn. The desert nights in April are still very cold and you can see breathing. The fire went out overnight. You will quickly get dressed, put on your favorite ragged sweater, comfortable jeans and boots. Skillfully, you want to have a fire, then put down your coffee and feed the dog. As far as I go, bacon, eggs and toast were concerned, I ate it on the kitchen table. You like to eat alone. You like the silence at this time of day; you won’t turn on the music or check your phone. You don’t have a TV. You don’t want background noise.

The sun rises and you can enjoy the wide, empty spotted tan view in the morning light. You will hear the distant faint faint faintness of the neighbor goat. A bird settles on the porch railing, and you stare at each other in a thick silence.

The day is scattered in front of you, and you tick the trivia: Bread prepares for the next day’s baking. A hole in the roof is patched. Leather engineering project. Soak the beans. Cut the wood. Your hands almost sting, eager to solve all problems.

You may not see another soul today, which is perfect for you. When you consider a quiet, simple, self-sufficient life, you feel satisfied – almost a feeling of wealth.

Married to spirit

Venus meets Neptune This week (May 2, 2025, 10:07 am PDT, 1º08’RARIES). Think about how we start so ideally in our lives in relationships or services, and how these pure motivations sometimes jump over time. The artist sold out. The priest became obsessed with financial gifts from his flock. The spouse lost love and had an affair.

The combination of Venus and Neptune symbolizes the hope of a refreshing human connection, that is, an increase in the desires of the earth, a state of purity and holiness. We love the fun of the earth and flesh wherever we are, and it’s time to release those desires and marry the spirit.

Not just survival

My generation was born in the fifties and sixties and loved to recall our idyllic growth. Although parents’ benign neglect drives us crazy, hanging out together and exploring our bikes, we take pride in survival and even thriving.

Maybe this is not exactly what we remember. But I do feel that my early safety and slow pace are related to my creative development. When you have a roof over your head, a lot to eat, and a relatively peaceful family life, you have the luxury of time and energy – to play, learn to play musical instruments, learn to learn astrology.

Calm Taurus new moon this week Leo’s first quarter moon (May 4, 2025, 6:52 am, at 14º21′ Leo and Taurus). Still opposed to Pluto’s sun and moon dancing on Mars is a dark reminder that the world will change in us as we age. It takes courage to let your children come out to play and make them vulnerable to criticism or even ridicule. But the stability of the Taurus sun provides a safe platform for our Leo to frolic and create fun, and courage is both the goal of Leo and its true nature.

Even when we are under great pressure, we quickly fall into normal routines and patterns. Within the scope of our access to sufficient resources, the challenge now is to push ourselves not only to achieve survival. This is a lunar phase, and we are invited to embrace what makes life worth living.

Episode 288 | Venus in Aries: Embrace of Nature! – Big Sky Astrologyshallow grave

Pluto is retrograde Half of the year (May 4, 2025, PDT to October 13, 8:27 AM), but we mostly feel its weight on days of changing directions, just like this week.

Pluto Station Day is completely troubled. It seems like a large Pluto boulder has been overturned, revealing all the squirming, slimy things that live below.

Uneasiness is part of Pluto’s journey. I am not going to be anxious, blow my whistle, eagerly seeking comfort, salvation, and even wisdom. Instead, I will pull a low bench in the middle of the cemetery. I would listen to the cool breeze in the trees, rustling the tall grass of panic, chaos, sadness and anger.

I can watch horror movies or read ghost stories with ease. These are ways to let gremlins hang out, casting our fears onto blank screens or easy-to-manage pages. So, as is the gothic, vampire books or picnics at the cemetery. In a cool, ironic deletion of death is Pluto Nomura Theater.

But living from time to time makes it impossible for life to maintain a safe, rational, and hygienic distance. The boulder was overturned and revealed the long-standing pile of compost. We find that long-buried things are rolling over the shallow grave, begging for release.

Come beside me. We will listen carefully; we will pay attention to what will happen next.
